About Erin Hendriks

Erin Hendriks, MD is a co-founder of Elle MD, a functional medicine and weight-management practice in Royal Oak, Michigan. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University and completed residency at Mount Sinai in New York, and has practiced medicine for over 15 years. She is board certified in lifestyle medicine and certified in obesity medicine, completed a two-year integrative medicine fellowship with the University of Michigan, and holds IFMCP certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine. She also holds a certification in whole-food plant-based nutrition from Cornell University.
