About Eric Sako

Eric Sako, MD is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and board-certified dermatologist at Pacific Dermatology Institute. His practice covers skin cancer surgery and complex facial reconstruction, cosmetic injectables including Botox and Juvederm, and general medical dermatology including moles, acne, and eczema. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, completed medical school at UCLA graduating AOA, and completed both his dermatology residency and Mohs surgery fellowship at UCLA. He has presented research at national dermatology meetings and published journal articles and book chapters, and acted as study coordinator for a national psoriasis clinical trial that led to FDA approval of a novel biologic. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and was born and raised in Los Angeles.
