About Emily Wong

Emily Wong, MD is a dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon who owns and leads Hawaii Dermatology & Surgery. She graduated summa cum laude from Hawaii Pacific University and was valedictorian of her medical school class at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. After a family medicine internship she served as a United States Air Force flight surgeon across three deployments, then completed her dermatology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Colorado. She is an Associate Professor and has served as Dermatology Consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General, on the American Academy of Dermatology Patient Safety and Quality Committee, and on the AAD-National Psoriasis Foundation guidelines working group. She retired from the Air Force as a Colonel after 24 years of service and returned to Hawaii to practise.
