About Effie Politis

Dr. Effie Politis is a board-certified plastic surgeon who earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her residency in one of the few fully integrated plastic surgery programs in the country at the University of South Florida. During training she worked closely with Dr. David J. Smith, former chair and director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She served as an assistant professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Florida, contributing to surgical education and resident training. At Politis Plastic Surgery she has built a boutique concierge practice offering around-the-clock availability. Fluent in Greek and English, she holds operating privileges at St. Josephs Hospital, St. Josephs Womens Hospital, St. Josephs Hospital-North, and Tampa Plastic Surgery Center.
