About Dhaval Patel
Dr. Dhaval Patel is a Double Board Certified Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon and founder of the Chicago Institute of Plastic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, completed a five-year general surgical residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a two-year Plastic Surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He holds double board certification by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. A native of Chicago's northwest suburbs, he is a strong proponent of minimal anesthesia, fast recovery, and minimally invasive procedures, and has taken part in international mission trips to Vietnam, Jamaica, and India. The practice has locations in Chicago, South Barrington, Oak Brook, and Orland Park, IL.
