About David Santos
David Santos, MD is a facial plastic surgeon at Seattle Plastic Surgery and a pioneer in the use of local anesthesia and oral sedation for facial plastic surgery procedures historically performed only under general anesthesia. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he served as President of the Biologic Society, and earned his medical degree at Tulane University. Before joining Seattle Plastic Surgery he served as Medical Director of a national group of more than thirty facial plastic surgeons across roughly fifteen surgical facilities, overseeing more than 15,000 procedures and personally performing more than 6,000 facial procedures. He is frequently asked to teach other surgeons in the United States and abroad.
