About Cynthia Diehl
A native Peruvian raised in Raleigh, NC, Dr. Cynthia Diehl attended NC State University and medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill. She completed a general surgery residency at UNC Hospitals and obtained board certification through the American Board of Surgery, then specialized in plastic and reconstructive surgery at UNC-Chapel Hill. She founded Diehl Plastic Surgery in Raleigh and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She was named a 2025 and 2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctor and holds hospital privileges at WakeMed North and Duke Raleigh Hospital.
