About Christal Carter
Christal Carter is an advanced practice registered nurse at Root Causes Medical Clinic in San Antonio, Texas, specializing in integrative medicine. She has fifteen years of nursing experience gathered across the country. She completed a fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She moved into integrative medicine after her own health journey and after observing the limits of the established health care system. Following a first-hand struggle with toxic mold she developed a particular interest in environmental medicine.
