About J. Byers Bowen
Dr. Byers Bowen is a plastic surgeon who sub-specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, body, and breast, with additional expertise in Targeted Muscle Reinnervation and Extremity Salvage. He received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in 2005 and graduated from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine in 2010. He completed General Surgery residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, earning Intern of the Year in 2011 and the L. D. Britt Resident Award in 2013, then trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He returned to the Tidewater area in 2018 to join Norfolk Plastic Surgery, P.C.
