About Burke Chegar
Dr. Burke E. Chegar is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon (American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery) and a Carmel, Indiana native. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wabash College and earned his MD from Indiana University, then completed a general surgery internship and an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency in New York before a facial plastic surgery fellowship at Emory University. He scored 3rd highest nationally on the ABFPRS certifying exam and received the John Orlando Roe Award from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the best clinical research paper by a facial plastic surgery fellow.
