About Bruce Fong
Dr. Bruce Fong, DO, HMD is the founding medical director of Sierra Integrative Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, and the stepson of the clinics 1983 founder, Dr. Yiwien Chang. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Reno in 1993 and a Doctor of Osteopathy from Western University of Health Sciences in 1997, completed a rotating osteopathic internship at Florida Medical Center South and an Internal Medicine residency at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. He has worked in alternative therapies for immune-related diseases since the early 1990s and develops the clinics patient treatment plans, drawing on homeopathic, Chinese and traditional medicine. He is registered with the Nevada State Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners and has twice served as President of the Nevada Osteopathic Medical Association.
