About Brian D. Alder

Brian D. Alder, MD is a fellowship-trained cornea, external disease and refractive surgeon at Shepherd Eye Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. He earned his MD at Duke University, where he completed his internship and rose to chief resident. He completed a corneal fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has published numerous articles and abstracts and has collaborated on corneal surgery research.
