About Bernard Raskin
Dr. Bernard Raskin is the founding dermatologist of Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Care, with locations across Bakersfield, Valencia, Palmdale, and Porter Ranch, California. He earned a bachelor's degree in physics from UCLA before receiving his medical degree from UC Irvine School of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at UC Irvine and the Long Beach VA, and a dermatology residency at UCLA. He is board-certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery by the American Board of Dermatology, and in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and was among the first physicians board-certified in Mohs surgery. He serves as volunteer faculty in the UCLA Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology, teaching dermatologic surgery, lasers, and cosmetic dermatology.
