About Benjamin Chu

Dr. Benjamin Chu is a plastic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience practising in Honolulu, Hawaii, from The Queen's Medical Center Physicians' Office Building. He is board certified in general surgery (1990) and plastic surgery (1994). He completed a BS in biology at the University of Hawaii in 1980 and earned his MD at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine in 1984, followed by a general surgery residency at the Guthrie Clinic in Pennsylvania and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts. He is widely recognised for breast augmentation and also performs facial rejuvenation, body contouring, rhinoplasty and mommy makeovers, with non-invasive injectable and laser treatments. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of ASPS, ASAPS, the Hawaii Plastic Surgery Society and the NorthWest Plastic Surgery Society, and an Assistant Professor in the University of Hawaii Department of Surgery.
