Basil Pakeman, MD, FRCS serves as medical director of Manhattan Surgical Care, specializing in cosmetic oculofacial surgery and Liposurgery. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada), a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and a diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, completed an Ophthalmology residency there, a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital, and an Oculoplastic Surgery externship at McMaster University, Ontario.
