About Adham B. al Hariri
Adham al Hariri is an oculofacial plastic surgeon and a co-founder of Eyelid & Facial Consultants in New Orleans, Louisiana. He studied biological sciences in Lebanon and graduated from medical school at the American University of Beirut, completed an internal medicine internship at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, and an ophthalmology residency at LSU Health Sciences Center and the Ochsner Clinic Foundation. He completed two fellowships: ocular and orbital oncology at the Hamilton Eye Institute and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and ophthalmic plastic, orbital and reconstructive surgery at the University of Cincinnati Eye Institute and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He served as an ophthalmic and facial trauma surgeon with the military, was the first recipient of the ASOPRS Foundation International Fellowship Award in 2008, and was awarded the Department of the Army Achievement Medal in 2014. He spent more than three years as an academic staff surgeon at Ochsner Medical Center before co-founding the practice, and continues to teach LSU and Ochsner ophthalmology residents, winning their Teaching Faculty of the Year Award in 2012. His practice covers the full spectrum of oculoplastic surgery — functional disorders, trauma and cancer reconstruction, and aesthetics.
