About Adam S. Hassan
Dr. Adam S. Hassan is a board-certified, fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose extensive training in surgery of the eye and face qualifies him to perform facial cosmetic, reconstructive and functional surgery. He received his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School, where he completed a residency in ophthalmology followed by an intensive fellowship in eye plastic, orbital and facial cosmetic surgery. He remained on faculty at the University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor and served as director of the Facial Cosmetic Surgery Service at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. He has published numerous journal articles and medical textbook chapters and is a scientific reviewer for leading journals in the field. In 2007 he was invited to join Dr. Meldrum-Aaberg in forming Eye Plastic & Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and he serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at Corewell Health.
