Health and beauty truly come from within ourselves, no person or society can say otherwise, but confidence and empowerment is what lets that beauty and wellness shine. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent 6 years caring for critically ill patients at Brigham and Women's Hospital. While I was honored to be part of those patients' journeys, I often found myself wishing healthcare placed more emphasis on prevention—helping people stay healthy rather than waiting until they became sick. I saw firsthand how powerful it can be to look beyond symptoms and understand the bigger picture. I became fascinated by the connection between lifestyle, exercise, nutrition, hormones, stress, and overall well-being — and how much those factors influence the way we feel, function, and age. That passion grew through my own personal experiences and began to mingle with my aesthetic nursing career as well. As I continued working in aesthetics and wellness, I noticed something beautiful.
