Dr. Vito Clarizio was born Vito Giacomo Clarizio. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry) in 1988. Dr. Clarizio started his own practice in Whitestone and has been in private practice in this location since 1989. Dr. Clarizio strongly believes that it is vital to be up to date on all the advances in dentistry and is trained in safe mercury removal. He is also one of the first dentists in the United States certified to use the revolutionary FDA-approved Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP®) for periodontal disease. This is a no-cut/no-sew painless procedure where patients have the benefit of virtually no postoperative side effects or pain.
