Vital You Functional Medicine is a functional medicine practice in Annapolis, Maryland, owned and led by Melissa Trotman, CRNP, an Institute for Functional Medicine certified practitioner who spent more than 15 years as a nurse practitioner at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Sinai Hospital. The practice runs three lines of care: functional medicine and metabolic health consultations leading into a six-month program, integrative cancer care, and a wellness membership. Treatments include IV nutrition and high-dose vitamin C, ozone therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Emsella for sexual wellness, and gut and metabolic reset programs. Its integrative cancer work draws on Trotman's training in mistletoe therapy, anthroposophic medicine and the metabolic approach to cancer, and is supported by two certified health coaches and a lead registered nurse. It serves Anne Arundel County and the greater Maryland area with in-person and telehealth appointments.
