About Sylvan Bartlett, MD, PA

Dr. Bartlett opened his private practice in Midland, Texas in 1977. He was the first plastic surgeon in private practice in the Permian Basin and started the multi-disciplinary Oral Maxillofacial Cleft Clinic at the Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Bartlett brought Liposuction from France to the Permian Basin in March, 1983. He also pioneered Endermologie and Cutaneous Laser Treatments in the Permian Basin, and has extensive experience in Maxillofacial trauma, burn trauma, hand trauma, and replantation of amputated parts. His cosmetic surgery experience goes back to 1969, where he independently performed his first Face-Lifts, Rhinoplasties, and Blepharoplasties. Dr. Bartlett was born in Gordon, Nebraska while his parents were living on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
