A Miami native, Dr. Steiger trained at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, completing a general surgery internship and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency as chief resident, followed by a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan, where he later served as faculty.
