Southwest Florida Oral & Facial Surgery was founded in 1965 by Dr. Gerald Laboda in Fort Myers as the first oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in southwest Florida; it was renamed to its current name in 1999 to reflect an expanded scope into facial cosmetic surgery. The practice now operates offices in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Naples, offering the full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery — dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and facial trauma care through the Lee Memorial Trauma Program — alongside fellowship-trained facial cosmetic procedures including facelift, rhinoplasty, brow lift, blepharoplasty, and otoplasty. Dr. Timothy Hogan, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, joined the practice in 1987.
