About South Shore Dental
He was raised to be an engineer. However, he rebelled and became a dentist after serving on a mission trip to Mexico. He served on the Alameda County Dental Society s board of directors, the Northern California Asian American Dental Association s board of directors, and was on the Continued Education Committee of the Sacramento Dental Society. Dr. Lau also served at the Berkeley Free Clinic and headed a school outreach to local public schools to teach children on how to avoid cavities. He wants his patients to have a very safe, comfortable experience. He also wants his work to out live him. Dr. Tiffany Sum has been a practicing dentist for 5 years. In her residency, she worked on a variety of patients, including the medically complex and special needs. She is currently a professor at Highland Hospital.
