SHIFT is a concierge primary care and executive health practice in Chicago's River North neighborhood, operating as SHIFT Sciences, LLC under founder and chief executive Ari Levy, MD. It runs an annual paid membership outside insurance, beginning with a full-day executive physical — including DEXA body composition, VO2 max testing, EKG, vision and audiology screening, skin-lesion cancer screening and comprehensive lab panels — followed by twelve months of concierge medical care with same-day and virtual visits. The clinical team is multidisciplinary, combining internal and family medicine physicians, registered dietitians and physical therapists. Fee-based add-ons include specialized diagnostics such as whole genome sequencing, multi-cancer early detection testing and gut microbiome assessment, nutrition coaching, fitness programming and performance physical therapy. SHIFT works out of a 10,000-square-foot facility and also sells executive health programs to employers.
