Our friendly, skilled dentists work hard to ensure you have a great experience while you re with us. Dr. Emily Burns joined Riverview Dental Associates as a full time dentist in July of 2019. Emily received her doctorate of dental medicine from the University of New England in 2017 and has been practicing in the Portland area since. Prior to studying dental medicine, Emily studied international relations and worked in law and environmental studies at Stanford University in California. Dr. Burns enjoys treating both children and adults and providing restorative and esthetic care. Emily is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Maine Dental Association. She is excited to join the Androscoggin Valley Dental Society and to learn more about the area and people she serves. During her free time, Dr. Burns enjoys spending time with her husband and their 6-year old son. She also enjoys kayaking, gardening, horseback riding, fishing, and hiking.
