Prior to establishing Peninsula Plastic Surgery in 1995, Dr. Perrotta served as an attending surgeon and Instructor of Plastic Surgery at Temple University. With extensive training and experience across the full spectrum of plastic surgery, he chose to leave the academic setting with the goal of bringing metropolitan-level plastic surgery expertise to the Delmarva Peninsula. He and his wife, Christina, also felt the Delmarva Peninsula would be an exceptional place to raise their five children. After earning an Honors Degree from The Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Perrotta received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School of Old Dominion University. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Vermont, followed by his plastic surgery residency at Temple University.
