Piney Woods Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is located in Nacogdoches, TX, next to Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital and in Lufkin, TX at 419 Frank Ave. With our convenient location our patients travel from the surrounding areas of East Texas, including Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Center, San Augustine, Timpson, Shelbyville, Piney Woods, Tenaha, Carthage, Hudson, Central Heights, Diboll, Corrigan, Livingston, Crockett, Deep East Texas, Hemphill, Henderson, Kilgore, Rusk, Tyler, Longview and Palestine. Dr. Shirley grew up in San Antonio, TX. He received a golf scholarship from Louisiana Tech University, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with cum laude honors from UTHSC, San Antonio in 2008. Dr. Shirley then completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UT Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX, which is known as one of the most prestigious maxillofacial surgery programs in the country.
