Dr. Spalla has been in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area for more than a decade in both private practice and academics. He was integral in the growth of the Division of Otolaryngology at Cooper University and its creation of an otolaryngology residency. Dr. Spalla has a strong background in teaching and was a curriculum developer for Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. He continues to lecture nationally on topics in facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology. Additionally, Dr. Spalla has published more than a dozen papers, several book chapters, and co-authored a textbook on facial plastic and reconstructive surgery that is available on Amazon. By leaving academics and creating his own practice, Dr. Spalla seeks to bring his signature background and stylistic touch back to Philadelphia.
