Peninsula Dermatology Skin Cancer Surgery Center, established in 1987 as Dermatology Specialists by Dr. Susan Mackel and Dr. Douglas Nelson, is an independently owned, physician-led dermatology practice serving Virginia's Peninsula from Williamsburg and Newport News. The practice provides medical dermatology, Mohs skin-cancer surgery, and cosmetic dermatology services. Dr. Joselin D. Tacastacas, board-certified in dermatology and internal medicine and fellowship-trained in cosmetic dermatologic surgery, joined the practice in 2017 and leads its cosmetic services.
