Origo Functional Medicine PLLC is a functional medicine practice focused on women's health, founded and run by Burgess Buchanan, a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner trained in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has more than 15 years of nursing experience, including three years in a trauma ICU as a registered nurse and later work as a nurse practitioner in neurocritical care and neurosurgery. The practice delivers care by telemedicine from Arizona and offers a 90-minute initial consultation, 60-minute follow-ups, a six-month hormone optimization program, a fertility and preconception program, and peptide consultations. Testing offered includes DUTCH, MIRA, Metabolomix and GI-MAP alongside functional medicine bloodwork, addressing concerns such as irregular cycles, bloating, migraines, fatigue and hair loss.
