Dr. Jamie Amir completed his dental training at Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’s Dental School in London, before moving to Florida where he completed two years of comprehensive dental implant training at the University of Florida Center for Implant Dentistry. He then obtained his certificate in Periodontics at the University of Florida Department of Periodontology, where he received further training in dental implant and reconstructive surgery as well as comprehensive training in all aspects of periodontal care. He is passionate about helping patients overcome periodontal disease with all-encompassing (or holistic) approach, including nutrition and supplementation advice to help prevent disease reoccurrence after treatment. He adopts a minimally invasive approach, utilizing surgical microscopes in every treatment room treatment (including for the periodontal hygienists) to reduce the need for periodontal surgery and to improve the overall thoroughness of treatment.
