Our practice was started in 1950 by Dr. Nix’s grandfather, Dr. Roy G. Davidson, Jr. Following WWII and time as a POW, Dr. Davidson returned to Birmingham and married the beautiful Betty Jo Travis. He had decided during the war that he wanted to attend dental school and completed his undergraduate requirements for dental school at Howard College. At this time, Alabama did not have a dental school, so Dr. Davidson attended the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis, TN. Upon graduation, they returned
