Dr. Jody Johnson is a distinguished graduate of the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, having completed his general surgery residency training at Michigan State University. Following his residency, he pursued a one-year fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and gastrointestinal surgery at the University of Kentucky and earned board certification through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. As a committed Fellow of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Dr. Johnson has dedicated himself to lifelong learning. His passion for education extends to hundreds of students at various levels, from college and nursing students to surgical technician and medical students. For seven years, he served as the instructor for the general surgery course at the University of Pikeville,
