Dr. Ramirez is a board-certified, family physician with 20 years of experience in medicine. He was born and raised in Manila and completed his medical training from the University of the Philippines. After his residency training at the Good Samaritan/Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 2011, he found his first employment in a federally-qualified center in Rhode Island. He eventually became the medical director and he was instrumental in obtaining a patient-centered medical home designation. Since then, he focuses on creating medical homes for his patients, offering them a truly comprehensive, evidence-based medical care . He combines medicine with technology and innovation. His academic calling lead him to be one of the faculty staff in the Kent Family Medicine residency program from 2015-2020, as a procedure instructor.
