About Junhee Lee MD Oculoplastic Surgeon

Dr. Lee was born in Kansas City and grew up in Ohio and Massachusetts. He attended Harvard College, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in electrical engineering. He received his M.D. degree with honors from Yale University, where he was also awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute scholarship based on his research activities. Dr. Lee completed an ophthalmology residency at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia followed by an ASOPRS-accredited oculoplastics fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Wills Eye Hospital and the University of Iowa are among the most sought-after ophthalmology training programs and are consistently ranked among the top 10 ophthalmology centers in the U.S. After his training, Dr. Lee joined a large ophthalmology practice in Miami, Florida, where he worked for 16 years.
