About Joseph J. Rousso, MD FACS

Dr. Joseph J. Rousso is a double board-certified, internationally-renowned facial plastic surgeon whose private practice is based in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan. He earned his medical degree from Florida State University and completed a General Surgery internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by an Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He completed a facial plastic surgery fellowship under Dr. Andrew Jacono and formerly served as Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at NYEEI of Mount Sinai and as an Associate Professor at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine. He currently serves as President of the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society and performs annual surgical mission trips for cleft lip/palate and microtia repair.
