About James L. Newlon, MD, FACS - Facial Plastic Surgery
Dr. Newlon earned his medical degree, from Loma Linda University, with help from an Army scholarship, and began his medical career as an Army Officer. A fast starter, Dr. Newlon was selected as the Surgical Intern of the Year in 2000 -2001. Double board certified as a Facial Plastics and Head/Neck Surgeon, Dr. Newlon used his unparalleled skills in reconstructive and facial enhancement surgery to help injured soldiers returning from combat restart their lives. Dr. Newlon also performed a wide range of cosmetic procedures on both Soldiers and military dependents, honing advanced skills in state-of-the- plastic surgery techniques, as well as expertise in minimally invasive and nonsurgical treatments. In fact, Dr. Newlon’s knowledge and expertise in his field earned him the number one ranking in the highly competitive 2007 American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon’s written Board Certification exam.
