About Island Orthopaedics

Established in 2011 by Dr. Garber and Dr. Kaneshige, Island Orthopaedics is a growing orthopaedic practice in Hawai'i. All of our surgeons have completed fellowship training in trauma, sports medicine, shoulder and elbow surgery, adult reconstruction, or hand surgery, and all have had extensive training and experience utilizing modern techniques in their subspecialties. Our surgeons specialize in a range of orthopaedic needs including total hips, total knees, shoulder issues, knee injuries, hand surgery, arthritis, fractures, and foot and ankle injuries. Our orthopaedic surgeons have significant ties to the community in Hawai'i. Prior to advancing our orthopaedic practice, many of us either grew up in Hawai'i or spent a significant part of our training in the medical systems of Hawai'i. We provide a significant amount of orthopaedic care to the under-served community in Hawai'i.
