Heal Functional Medicine is a functional medicine and direct primary care practice in Keizer, Oregon, founded and led by Allyson Howarth, DNP, FNP-C, WHNP, MPH, an Air Force veteran who has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2016. The practice organizes care around what it calls the HEAL Framework and offers both a direct primary care membership, which includes unlimited visits, extended appointments and telemedicine, and a cash-based per-visit option. Clinical focus areas include hormone health and bioidentical hormone replacement, including testosterone replacement for men and women, thyroid disorders, digestive conditions such as leaky gut, SIBO and IBS, environmental medicine covering mold and heavy metals, and women's and men's health. Additional therapies include peptide therapy, IV therapy, ozone therapy, microneedling and shockwave therapy, supported by functional laboratory testing. The practice serves Keizer, Salem, Silverton, Dallas, Albany, Woodburn and Portland, and does not bill Medicare.
