Known as ‘Dr Doug DDS’ on NBC Palm Springs’ The Roggin Report, Dr. Cast brings his expertise in health and dentistry to a wider audience. Dr. Douglas Cast is a Southern California native. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from San Diego State University. He then attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Cast is both a former Clinical Instructor and Lecturer at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), which is a global leader in teaching dentists from around the world the art and science of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. In his years there, Dr. Cast played an instrumental role in designing some of the cosmetic advancements commonly seen in higher end cosmetic dental veneers and crowns today. Working closely with Ms Laura Kelly at Microdental Labs, Dr. Cast helped to develop an “incisal halo” and facial anatomy that is used to enhance the beauty veneers and crowns
