Dr. Castel Santana, MD/CFMP, known to his patients as Dr. Cas, is a board-certified family medicine doctor and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. During his career, he has seen the power of healthy, happy communities and has dedicated his career to creating that – one patient at a time. Dr. Cas was born and raised most of his life in Anchorage, Alaska. When he was younger, he and his family lived in multiple states, including Hawaii, Oregon and California. This experience helped Dr. Cas develop the skills to make friends quickly, learn about different backgrounds, and adapt rapidly to new surroundings and situations. Growing up, Dr. Cas enjoyed the challenge and competition offered by the sport of wrestling. His drive and determination led him to become an All-American wrestler in high school. With his learned skills and hard work ethic, he graduated from Minnesota State Moorhead with a dual major in biology and chemistry. During his time in college, Dr. Cas developed a passio
