David A. Kingrey, M.D. joined The Ochsner Eye Center in 1998, and founded what is now Vision Surgery Consultants . Dr. Kingrey is a native of Wichita and a graduate of The University of Kansas Medical School. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Kingrey completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Ohio State University. Dr. Kingrey has extensive experience as an ophthalmologist and ophthalmic microsurgery. Dr. Kingrey has performed over 45,000 cataract and 9,000 Lasik procedures. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Jeffrey A. Boomer, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in corneal transplants , cataract surgery , and laser vision correction .
