Dr. Carlo Guevara is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Implant & Facial Surgery Center (South Florida Dental Implant and Facial Surgery Center) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which he co-owns with Dr. Michel Matouk. Dr. Guevara trained at USC, earned his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, completed a six-year craniomaxillofacial residency and MD at the University of Florida, and completed a pediatric cleft/craniofacial fellowship at UF/Wolfson Children's Hospital. His practice within the group centers on complex facial reconstruction, facial feminization surgery, and orthognathic (jaw) surgery, and he is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). The group's broader menu also includes dental implants and general oral surgery, which fall outside Whelth's cosmetic scope.
