Astoria Derm is the practice of Dr. Alexander Nicolaides, a board-certified dermatologist who has practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology in Astoria, New York since opening the practice in 2000. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, completed an internship at Montefiore Medical Center, and completed his dermatology residency at New York Medical College, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Nicolaides holds hospital appointments at Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian and Mount Sinai, and is a member of the American Board of Dermatology, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Allergic Contact Dermatitis Society.
