Upon graduating from University of Maryland with a degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, he entered the Dental School in Baltimore. After completion of dental school with Magna Cum Laude honors, he entered the General Practice Residency program at the Christiana Hospital in Wilmington and has been living in Delaware with his family since then.
