Dr. Elizabeth Clanton’s practice is located in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Clanton enjoys reconstruction surgery to restore a patient’s function and appearance. In addition, she performs cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. She also has a special interest in pediatric craniofacial surgery. Her interest in plastic surgery developed during medical school during her trauma surgery rotation. This led to research during her General Surgery Residency in Craniofacial Surgery and completing a Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Texas at San Antonio. After residency, she sought out more specialized training at the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Institute in Dallas. Her mentors were world-renowned craniofacial surgeons including the inventor of the EarWell™ ear molding system, Dr. Steve Byrd. Dr. Clanton grew up in the Dallas area. She married Bill Clanton, and together they have three children - two daughters and a son. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her fam
