Central Florida Functional Medicine is a functional and lifestyle medicine practice in Oviedo, Florida, organized as a PLLC and serving patients throughout Central Florida. Its sole clinician is Scott M. Smith, DMSc, PA-C, a physician assistant and former U.S. Army officer with more than 25 years of clinical experience who moved full-time into functional and lifestyle medicine in 2003. Care is built on a stated three-pillar approach of lifestyle, environment and genes, with testing covering toxicity evaluations, adrenal function, microbiology and mitochondrial assessment. The practice also runs a hyperbaric oxygen therapy program using a Vitaeris 320 chamber, open to the general public. It is cash-pay, does not accept insurance, and does not provide primary care or hospital services.
