Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center is a dermatology group practice in northeast Ohio, founded by J. Raymond Bernat, Jr., MD in July 2001 and joined by Patrick Lee Shannon, MD in January 2002. It operates offices in Boardman, Warren (Howland) and Salem, with an additional Alliance location announced. The practice describes itself as the only Mohs micrographic surgery treatment center between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, and treats medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic conditions in patients of all ages. Cosmetic offerings include Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, CoolSculpting, laser hair removal and laser resurfacing using HALO, Nordlys and BroadBand Light devices. An affiliated clinical research arm, Optima Research, operates from the Boardman campus.
