About Yudith Ruiz-Arias
Yudith Ruiz-Arias received a Medical Degree from the Institute of Medical Science of Villa Clara, Cuba, where she also completed a residency in ophthalmology, and she worked as an ophthalmologist in Cuba and an ophthalmology specialist in Nassau, Bahamas. After moving to Florida she earned an associate degree in vision care technology at Miami Community College and worked as an optician and ophthalmic technician. She then returned to school at Florida International University for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Magna Cum Laude) and a Master of Nursing, graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She moved to Florida in 1999 and has lived in Cape Coral since 2005.
